- The average success rates for first-time, degree-seeking freshmen should be 80%.
- A successful student is defined as a student who was enrolled as a first-time, full-time, degree-seeking student during the fall semester, and
- was enrolled only during the fall semester and had a minimum grade point average of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale at the end of the fall semester, or
- was also enrolled in the spring semester as either a full-time or part-time student and had a minimum grade point average of 2.0 at the end of the academic year.
